Groundwater resilience to climate change in Senegal
Organisation Associé: West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL) C/o Graduate Research Program (GRP) on Climate Change and Water Resources - UAC- Benin
The overall aim of this PhD research project is to improve understanding of groundwater resources across Senegal and examine their relative resilience to climate change. The main outputs from the project are quantitative groundwater maps for Senegal which highlight which areas are more likely to be resilient to climate change and also where sufficient groundwater resources may be available to help adaptation.
